“Maiden Shanghai was amazing, food, service, the whole experience at dinner was superbe. Lessly, our server, was brilliant and really took good care of us. Thank you for a wonderful evening after an eccentric day! Unfortunately, there was a huge list of issues from the minute we got to the hotel. The room was filthy upon check-in, dirt and finger prints everywhere. We're in the middle of a pandemic and this is unacceptable. We changed rooms, an hour later we were assigned a new room, which smelled of cigarette smoke. Another hour later, and after numerous visits and phone calls from managers and housekeeping staff we changed rooms again, were given a 200 AED credit, and had to wait at the bar while the new room was being cleaned.
