“In DC for a conference, so the location next to the Convention Center is perfect. The tunnel allows for rapid access and no rain or weather issues. The staff are wonderful and always helpful. The lobby is gorgeous with plenty of places to meet up. For the price at a flagship hotel though, the room is just average and although clean looking, the shower smells strongly of mold. The bed's acceptable, but with very flat pillows. The lack of soundproofing is the biggest negative, however. Every night there are multiple sirens and quite loud traffic noises, disrupting sleep. Several others in our group have the same complaint. I've frequently stayed in rooms overlooking roads and highways, but rarely experienced this level of noise.”

“Brought the family here while attending an on-site business conference. The staff is friendly and attentive, which was amazing given the number of conference attendees and guests. They made our stay most enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable if not a bit small for a family of four. The beds in our room were on the wee-side of being doubles. All-in-all, this is a great place to stay for business/conference-oriented visits, however, not so much for family getaways with small children.
FYI: There is a well-appointed fitness center located on the third floor, however, the facility does lack a pool. I wish this was more clearly stated on the hotel's website.”
