I changed my original hotel booking to the Toren mainly because it was a more central location as well as being a boutique hotel which I usually prefer. I am glad I made the change. I walked from the train central station to the hotel which only took just over 15 minutes. Check in was efficient and staff were friendly and took me to my room, while reviewing their services. There was a handwritten welcome note in the room which was a nice touch. I was in room 115 on the 1st floor, one floor up from the main. it's was small, but cozy and comfortable, with a very good size bathroom. The bed and sheets were very soft. There was bottle water, small fridge with couple complimentary pops and coffee/tea maker. The morning breakfast was included and cooked to order with very attentive service. Good selection and easy to order exactly what you want. I stayed 3 nights and the location proved to be ideal, quiet street close to most attractions (although everything in Amsterdam is close). My only minor issue was the slow speed of there internet service, it was barely 2 Mbps, which is okay for basic email, and some browsing, but not good for videos or streaming. I don't expect super fast speed, but in 2023 it was considerably slower than most hotels I have stayed at. Other than that i was an very good experience and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

I loved our stay at this hotel. Everyone here was extremely nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. They gave us recommendations to several restaurants and told us what we should visit. The rooms are nice, obviously some better than others but overall nice. The location is superb. You couldn't be in a better more centric place to visit Amsterdam

A delightful stay at the The Pavillions Amsterdam The Toren! A wonderful combination of both comfort and luxury without being ostentatious. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. After walking the city for 8 hours, coming "home" to a cosy bar with wonderful inventive drinks made the perfect nightcap. Thank you all for a memorable stay.

This was definitely my best decision 'bout my recent trip to Amsterdam! Love every bits of this hotel details; the room, the ambience, the cosy feeling, the little inner yard, the jacuzzi in the room, the amenities, down to the attentive, friendly staff. Noticing I'm Muslim, they served me Halal chicken slice and vegan cheese for my breakfast. Love the croissant too & of cos the view from the cafe overlooking the canal was such a calming and nice touch! truly enjoyed my stay here, definitely gonna make this my choice of stay if I ever return to Amsterdam again.

This hotel is so lovely ! The rooms are super nice. I had a jacuzzi in the room which I used every day. Very nice touch. And the private garden was everything I could ask for. Oh and location is perfect. This is exactly where you want to be. Just a few blocks away from Adam square but not too touristy. Quiet at night. Just what you need. Also- get dessert at the bar/restaurant. So delicious.

Equipe fantástica. O hotel é maravilhoso, limpo e próximo a tudo, inclusive com muitos bares e restaurantes bacanas. Foram 7 dias sem nenhum problema.

Se hospedado por um fim de semana prolongado no quarto 229, que tem uma bela vista de uma das muitas pontes iluminadas à noite.Não tomou café da manhã, então não posso avaliar. Decidimos tomar café da manhã na vizinhança para conviver com alguns cariocas (o que só é possível em parte, já que há muitos turistas). Nós tivemos algumas bebidas no bar, que era muito bom. Se você estiver com fome à noite, pode pedir no restaurante muito bom Black & Blue, que fica na esquina (embora eu também recomende ir lá também).O que é mais notável, porém, é como a equipe foi super simpática. Infelizmente não pegamos seus nomes, mas principalmente o jovem que trabalhava no turno da noite na recepção 11.11.-14.11.2021 e o senhor do bar (que parece falar 4 ou 5 línguas e cujo filho tinha acabado de chegar em Berlim com sua aula de arte 😉) foram muito atenciosos e amigáveis, dando-nos ótimas recomendações que tornaram nossa estada em Amsterdã ainda mais agradável. Nossa, nossa, a melhor experiência de um hotel que eu já havia experimentado. A atmosfera, o design e o quarto eram surpreendentes. E a Jacuzzi depois de um longo dia era uma cereja no topo.

Me alojé durante un fin de semana prolongado en la habitación 229, que tiene una bonita vista de uno de los muchos puentes que están iluminados por la noche.No desayuné, así que no puedo evaluar. Decidimos desayunar en el barrio para encontrarnos con algunos lugareños (lo cual es solo parcialmente posible, ya que hay muchos turistas). Sin embargo, tomamos algunas bebidas en el bar, que estaban muy bien. Si tiene hambre por la noche, puede pedir en el excelente restaurante Black & Blue que está a la vuelta de la esquina (aunque también recomendaría ir allí).Sin embargo, lo más notable es lo agradable que fue el personal. Desafortunadamente no nos enteramos de sus nombres, pero especialmente el joven que hacía el turno de noche en la recepción 11.11.-14.11.2021 y el señor del bar (que parece hablar 4 o 5 idiomas y cuyo hijo acababa de estar en Berlín con su clase de arte 😉) fueron muy atentos y amables, dándonos excelentes recomendaciones que hicieron que nuestro tiempo en Ámsterdam fuera aún más agradable. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

Wow just wow, the best experience of a hotel that I had experienced. The atmosphere, the design, & the room were amazing. And the Jacuzzi after a long day was a cherry on top.

Great place to stay! Location is great, rooms are very nice, bathrooms modern and clean and the interior of this approx 400 year old building is a super stylish mix of old and new. Stayed for a prolonged weekend in room 229 which has a nice view of one of the many bridges that is lit at night. Didn't have breakfast, so can't evaluate. We decided to have breakfast in the neighborhood to get amongst some locals (which is only partially possible, since there are a lot of tourists). We did have some drinks at the bar though, which were very good. If you're hungry in the evening, you can order from the very good restaurant Black & Blue around the corner (although I'd also recommend to go there as well). What's most notable though is how super nice the staff was. Unfortunately we didn't catch their names, but especially the young man doing the night shift at the reception 11.11.-14.11.2021 and the gentleman from the bar (who seems to speak 4 or 5 languages and who's son had just been in Berlin with his art class 😉) were very attentive and friendly, giving us great recommendations that made our time in Amsterdam even more enjoyable. Hermosa habitación y servicio muy servicial y acogedor.

I had a perfect stay at The Toren. Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and a great way to start each day. Room was comfortable and quiet and the location on the Keizersgracht couldn't be more convenient. A beautiful and pleasant location that's close to everything, including great cafes and restaurants. Easy walk to the Jordaan, the Negen Straatjes and other great shopping and dining areas. Also convenient to the tram to Centraal Station which was helpful for when I had to travel elsewhere in the Netherlands for the day and, of course, for access to Schiphol. The staff gave me access to one of the hotel bikes, which was perfect for getting around the city to meetings and for sightseeing. Especially now with COVID, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Thank you!

Excelentes acomodações no canal! Saudação e serviço incrível das senhoras e senhores deputados da recepção. Os quartos são tão únicos, sugiro uma sala com jacuzzi. Distância perfeita a pé de tudo, restaurantes, barragem e casa de Anne Frank. Recomendo e estará de volta!

Excelente alojamiento en el canal. Increíble saludo y servicio de las damas y caballeros de la recepción. Las habitaciones son tan únicas, sugiere una habitación con jacuzzi. Perfecta distancia a pie de todo: restaurantes, presa y la casa de Ana Frank. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y volveremos!

Excellent accommodations on the canal! Amazing greeting and service from the front desk ladies and gentlemen. Rooms are so unique- suggest a jacuzzi room. Perfect walking distance to everything- restaurants, dam, and Anne Frank house. Highly recommend and will be back!

My først trip to Amsterdam and it was such a lovely city. The Hotel Toren was a hotel I always would like to stay on another time when I come back to Amsterdam.The staff there was sooo lovely, kind and warm. And the Hotel and the room I have there was so nice and wery clean. The staff was so helpfull under my whole wacation so I have only the best to say about it All.

Phillip the bartender is awesome. The desk guy too (sorry,forgot his name). Nice view. Church bells all night long.

Hotel booked because of the good reviews, but what a deception!! super helped by facebook chat who quickly provided us with all requested information. However the check inn was terribly, very unprofessional. Room was disappointing, but clean. Breakfast was good and bartender very nice! Would not recommend, it would be nice to be welcomed with a smile…..

We stayed overnight here and it was an excellent experience! The hotel staff was warm, friendly, professional and accommodating! Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. We requested a room with a nice bathtub and were very happy with it. The jacuzzi bath was a PERFECT way to end a long day of walking around Amsterdam. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay!

Outstanding Hotel & Great Location. We spent the night here before leaving on a cruise and were very impressed. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is actually spread out but very nice. We stayed on a canal view room which was very spacious and had a nice bathroom. The breakfast was very good as well. Highly recommended!

This was a cozy hotel. The garden between the front and back parts was great for taking a break in the middle of the day. The breakfast was very good. The scrambled eggs were actually cooked. The staff is very polite and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
