Not a good neighborhood, graffiti on wall across street. The rooms are in BIG need of updating. Curtains were hanging from rod, furniture was frayed, rust stain in tub. Bad room layout, no door between bedroom and sink area of bathroom. Strange double door between bedroom and living room that had half inch gap when closed and hard to open. The only good of the place is EXCELLENT STAFF! Size of room good.

Hilton Hotels disappointment- Room 109 Pros: Staff was nice Cons: Sofa was old and torn with exposed foam, and I could not believe the manager's response, "We are planning on remodeling soon." The coffee maker had old coffee grounds in it and there were dirty/used beer and soft drink bottles in the bottom cabinets. Pool is not open. Unfortunately, this room was not worth the price and I do not recommend staying at this property.

After reading some less than great reviews I was wary about staying here. Happy to report my stay was excellent.Checked in a bit early and room was ready. Very nice sized suite with nice decor and spotlessly clean, everything looked new and was in perfect condition. Loved the seperate bedroom. The a/c worked better than anyplace I have ever stayed. Always felt safe and secure no issues there. We did have a ground floor room and could hear some noise from above but nothing to complain about. Really enjoyed the breakfast, hot eggs, hash browns and bacon hit the spot with lots of other choices included, even delicious real orange juice. I have learned you cant believe everything your read so dont hesitate to book a stay at this hotel.

We had Room 326. The room's toilet was completed clogged and if we flushed, the water would rise to the very top of the bowl. This room should have never been released for occupancy. The maid had to see that the toilet was clogged when she (hopefully) cleaned it and flushed it. We went downstairs to get a plunger from the manager and my husband worked for 15 minutes, plunging the commode, trying to clear the clog. When this didn't work and the toilet was still almost overflowing (keep in mind we were on the 3rd floor and there would be water damage to the floors below if the toilet had kept running), we went back downstairs and asked the manager to give us another room with a working toilet. He said there were no open rooms, there was no maintenance person on duty, and said "sorry, guys". We went back upstairs and called the Hilton Honors line. The rep offered to see if she could book us in another Hilton property, but we declined, as it was already 9:30PM at night and we were not comfortable to go back out in the dark to an unfamiliar hotel (we are in our 60's). We went back upstairs and my husband worked for another 20 minutes, plunging the toilet. He finally got the clog to clear, but we are not on vacation to be a plumber. Would you like to compensate my husband for his time? How about $60/hour since he is not a certified plumber? I asked the Hilton rep to comp our room to compensate us for this major inconvenience. She said she'd file a case for us and that we should expect to hear back from the hotel we were at in 48 hours. This was on Saturday, Sept. 4. It is Wednesday, Sept. 8 and I have not heard a word from the hotel. I will be calling Hilton Honors today to check on the status of our complaint. We can get a working toilet from Motel 6. This is unacceptable for a Hilton property.

This was the worst Hilton I ever stayed at. I stay every week for work at a Hilton. The first night I got a suite on the 3rd floor and as soon as I got off the emevator it was hot and my room was on 65 but was 79 degrees. I called the front desk and they said they would move me so I packed up and was moved to the first floor. The carpets were ripped and dirty but I was so tired from the trip I went to sleep. I woke up at 4:30 am and killed two roaches entering the bathroom. I woke up also with bug bites on my arm. I quickly moved to another Hilton Embassy Suites 20 miles away and thank goodness.

Dirty dirty. Filthy carpets. Walls torn up. Filthy stairwells. No cigarette cans near exits so butts all over ground. The hallways are not air conditioned. Trash cans in stairwells stink and full of trash. Pool closed. Bags of trash on ground near dumpster. Homeless camp near fence. We will never stay there again!

Would I book one of these rooms for the Queen of England or the Pope? No. Would I stay there again with my family? Sure. It's not luxurious, but it's an okay place to stay! The biggest drawback was that it was a tiny bit dirty (not anything major--just stuff like a couple teeny tiny sugar ants in the room and lots of trash on the ground outside). There was a trick to getting the sink to drain because the "lift rod" pin was broken. The awesome, kind maintenance man took care of the sink very quickly. He was really helpful and hardworking--he was even directing everyone to their rooms while he was fixing the ice maker. Kudos to him! The front desk staff was nice, too, and accommodating. In other positive news, I'd give the hotel five stars for the linens and five million stars for being baby proofed. There were no cords or dangerous/breakable items in the baby's reach and the trash can was even conveniently in a closet, which made unpacking easy and peaceful. We enjoyed the little basketball court. As for location, it's convenient that it's right near the highway, but it's also not the very nicest area of the city.

The Website told different than what was at suite. There was no fresh breakfast as on website. Bag of snack breakfast. The ceiling was hanging down. Hot in Lobby and in hallway. Contructionthrough out the Facility. This was not on website. False advertisement. Very nice rooms.

Pues es la primera vez que me hospedo en homewood y me parece exelente! Sala, cocina, comedor refrigerador bueno hasta me siento en casa.

Excelente hotel, el personal es muy amigable y dado a consentir a sus huéspedes en lo que necesiten. Si buscas un excelente desayuno y un extra como algo para comer en el evening este es el lugar que necesitas, su comida es fabulosa. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y muy bien cuidadas, el aseo es impecable y el personal muy atento. El hotel cuenta con piscina cubierta, gimnasio y sala de internet.
