The service was amazing! From the time we pulled up at the entrance we were greeted by Marcel and he loaded our luggage and escorted us to the desk. Another gentleman escorted us to our room as well.
The room was great as well! Clean, nicely arranged.
The view however was subpar. I paid for Times Square view but all we could see was the other hotel across the street. We chose the W for a nice view but did not get what we expected. For that, I would give it 3 stars. The Sheraton on 53rd looks like it has nice views

Stayed here a few years back for Halloween I enjoyed how convenient it was to the restaurants, bars, and clubs. The staff was great but the price was overpriced in my opinion. The room was standard with simple amenities. I did enjoy the restaurant in the hotel it was nicely themed.

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you choose this place you won't regret it.
This hotel is absolutely AMAZING! Everything about our stay was PERFECT! We arrived in the city early and was able to check in right away, always a plus if available, if not they do hold your luggage. The concierge, JERMAINE, that helped us throughout our stay made our time in the city very special. He helped us with finding local amenities, eateries, etc. He was super nice and enthusiastic not only about the hotel but also about the city, really got us excited for our time there! The Welcome Ambassador ADAM was also very kind throughout our stay, said hi everyday, asked us how our stay was going each time we saw him. All of the staff really go above and beyond for the guests as I saw them do for other guests as well, the bellmen, the desk agents, the baristas, the housekeeping staff all had smiles and were constantly asking guests how their time there was going and going out of their way to make sure guests were being taken care of. Also the lobby/bar, restaurants and rooms are all very modern and really fit the vibe of the location (yes they do match the photos & descriptions online). Location 10/10. If staying in the city I recommend the W for WONDERFUL stay!

It is good for location and some of the staff are great. But the rooms have no hooks for you to hang anything, there’s no real benefit to having Titanium status bc you don’t get what you’ve paid for… Then again it is NYC and everything is ridiculously priced as we well know. You get some deals like 25$ voucher/day at the bar, 2tickets to the Guggenheim Museum BUT they don’t tell everyone this. It’s hit or miss. When I was checking out the manage was dealing with two customers who were never informed of the deals. But they charge you a 25$ destination fee for it!! I don’t think we will ever stay here again. The Marriott Marquis is WAY better!

The location was great right in the heart of Times Square! The lobby is nice! Comfortable yet stylish great for selfies. There’s a bar, places to lounge nicely done art/graffiti on the walls. There is a bar etc. The room was basic at best. And for the price you would expect everything to work properly. No the reading light that was attached to the bed was broken. So, they put a big ole floor lamp with a button you need to step on in order to turn off. Well what if your laying down?

First time in New York, and the location did not disappoint. The lights, and ease of access to Times Square and surrounding areas were great. We walked from the Hotel, to Empire, 5th Ave, Grand Central Station, and One Vanderbilt. I appreciate the front desk for giving an upgrade upon arrival to a room with a view. The only reason for the 4 stars is the gym is not what I was hoping for after staying at a couple W hotels. Other than that they did a great job!

The hotel is in an amazing location for tourists, that's only like 10 steps away from Times Square, very popular area. I got a suite so the size of the room is nice. The lobby there was only one person working on the whole lobby floor and I couldn't find anyone I could ask something. That's odd for a hotel this size and quality. The room rates seem a bit high but I guess your are paying for the location. Amazing view also!

My stay was very pleasant and the location of the hotel is awesome, I stayed in a Suite, the most important part of my solo trip was Eddie I mean this man is so kind and sweet who helped me out to plan my stay in NY. He goes above and beyond to help each guest I mean seriously he represents their brand very well. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay at the W not only for the massive rooms and great location but to meet great people such as Eddie

My regular stay in NY as its one of the few clean, newly refurbished hotels in town. Since Covid prices are very reasonable as well. The Living Room Bar is excellent and the waiters / waitresses always friendly. Main issue is noise from Times Square, so make sure you book a good level room to get the higher floors and you’ll be fine!

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. However the stay was a bit of a nightmare. My room was extremely hot and humid. Even with the AC cranked to 68 degrees I couldn't get a comfortable temperature. It was cooler In the hallway than my room. I'd wake up to wet sheets at night, due to the humidity and could smell mildew in the air.
There was no room service at all. No options for food and beverage or even someone to communicate with to fix the air.
Convenient location and lucky didn't have to spend much time here but if you're looking for a comfortable sleep and room service look elsewhere.

Amazing experience at this Hotel! The receptionist went above and beyond many times plus daily housekeeping!
Location is great right in the heart of time square. Id highly recommend getting a e-citi bike to go around new york as its cheap and quick! This hotel definitely made my trip worth it! Definitely on the pricey side but you do get what you pay for!!

They are located right in Times Square. I love the location. The staff was great to deal with. We really appreciated them letting us check in early. My husband had never ridden in a cab before so he didn't feel well once we arrived. Because of that he got to lay down for a while until he felt better. Kudos for that. I do want to mention that the windows could be cleaned and the pillows were not the best. We asked for a firm pillow and they brought up the same one. I appreciate them bringing us another one but a different one would've been better. I would say that these are not deal breakers for me. I would stay here again.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any hotel. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it.
