Let's start with the best, which is the location. Good food spots around and central park is in walking distance. Don't expect to see much of it from your room, rather than a few trees in the distance.
Things I didn't enjoy:
Air circulation in the room is not that good, windows do open for a small gap which is good.
There is no coffee machine, or anything else but a fridge in the room.
The wifi is a disaster and should be fixed as soon as possible.
There was some kind of school event, which lead to hundreds of teenagers flooding the lobby each day, as a Hilton hotel with plenty of business travellers it just felt way too crowded. The lobby had Shopping mall vibes...
I think they messed up the food credit and missed a day since I got charged more than I should but I am too tired to fight that...
But the whole cherry on top was the last day, the elevators stopped working except for one... which lead to massive queues on each floor... it took me once 20 minutes to go downstairs, just to hear then from the reception that late checkout is not possible 🤣... the bonus was a cockroach encounter in the staircase after walking 34 floors...
Overall I usually enjoy the Hilton experience but this one wasn't really that good.

Great hotel, at great location. Room was spotlessly clean and beds were extremely comfortable. Great views of the city. Also had breakfast every morning with an amazing choice on offer. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Terrible terrible. We stayed here over Thanksgiving because it is on the parade route. Booked months in advance, paid additional upgrade, and even called to verify room would face the parade. When checking in it wasn't. Tried to talk to manager. Both check in guy and manager would switch and just walked away for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Stood at check in desk for over an hour after 8 hour flight. They do it on purpose so you give up. Manager said he would call me and gave me his card. Supposed to fix my rate, never did. The check in guy literally said because you booked early those are better rates than now so I shouldn't expect any credit. I said I booked early knowing that and the hotel should honor that. Never heard anything from manager. I have his business card. I'll post Pic soon. Room was dirty. Sink didn't drain EVER and was so gross. Blood on sheets that we didn't sleep on them one night. Called for bedding to replace and never got. The bar at the hotel had no service. We sat for over 20 minutes then my husband went and got our drinks. Way pricey for 2 drinks and no service. I don't mind paying if atmosphere and service is good but it wasn't. Go outside of the hotel if you are going to get drinks, not worth it in hotel.

Comfortable room. Nice and clean. No tea or coffee supplies, but several bottles of water. Definitely insufficient elevators for the number of visitors, with a crowd of people waiting outside, and long wait when coming down from my room.
Location is excellent, with popular attractions and transport close by.

Excellent stay, great employees and amazing location. We have stayed in Hilton brand hotels all over NYC and this was by far our favorite. We are Diamond members and their concierge room for members (I think that's what they called it) was INCREDIBLE! Every night they had food (ex: wings, cheese, crackers and cookies), but the best was the machine that serves hot cocoa, espresso, lattes and such. Every morning and night we had to make it a point to stop by and enjoy all of the goodies. It was a delight! All of the staff were so accommodating, and our stay couldn't have been better. I highly recommend staying here!

Fizemos uma reserva pela Booking, que não nos dava direito a geladeira no quarto, nem check in antecipado. Mas o custo beneficio vale a pena. Cama confortável, hotelaria boa, quarto confortável. Café da manhã saboroso mas limitado (pelo padrão do brasileiro). Funcionários muito simpáticos, excelente atendimento, fomos muito bem recebidos e orientados.

Os quartos são ok para o padrão, já os banheiros são minúsculos, o café da manhã assim como o happy hour oferecidos gratuitamente aos clientes Honor Diamond são ruins, de qualidade ordinária... O próprio Executive Lounge é abaixo da crítica, muito ruim! Talvez o pior entre as dezenas de lounges Hilton que conheço.Espero que esse breve relato tenha contribuído para a escolha de seu próximo hotel! :)**Meus relatos são baseados em experiências reais como viajante a trabalho e lazer, em mais de 200 diferentes hotéis em 4 continentes, principalmente das redes Hilton e Accor. ;)

Muy mala experiencia en este hotel. El servicio, por lo general, muy deficiente. En un hotel donde te cobran un 15% de servicio por defecto, tendrían que intentar tener un personal más amable. El único departamento que ha sido amable ha sido el de Housekeeping.Instalaciones antiguas para lo que pagas. El Wifi no nos funcionó durante los dos primeros días. Un hotel HILTON en pleno manhattan y no había Wifi. Increíble, pero cierto. Lo peor es que llamabas a recepción desde la habitación y después de estar 2 minutos hablando con ordenadores, al final no te contesta nadie. También llamamos al room services para pedir comida a la habitación y no contestaban. Tuvimos que bajar al bar a pedirlo. Lamentable.Por último, la máquina de AC hacía muchísimo ruido!!!La verdad que muy decepcionado con el hotel y con la cadena. No nos hemos sentido nada a gusto en este hotel.Lo único bueno la cama y la localización del hotel. Lo demás lo hemos encontrado muy deficiente y carísimo para lo que ofrecen. No volveremos a este ni a ningún hotel más de la cadena Hilton.

I like this hotel….until it gets too busy.It is in a great location. Many rooms are remodeled and comfortable.Housekeeping always does an amazing job.I am a Diamond member and the lounge is nice.When it gets too busy, it goes downhill a little. Front desk is courteous but overwhelmed.Concierge is nice but limited in what they can do.It’s such a shame to have inconsistency in a fine hotel.Please hire more staff. This situation is not fair to you employees and customer satisfaction really takes a hit

We stayed here only for one night. It was last minute trip and we didn't care that much about hotel. We like the fact that they have their own parking garage. ( valet is running by different company though) Their room was spacious compare to many NYC hotels. Only issue I had was that the water pressure was so low. Staff were friendly and location was good too!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Midtown and would definitely consider it again for a future NYC trip. The location is fabulous, easy walk to anywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful, got us checked in very quickly despite our early arrival time. The room was a good size by NYC standards and although a little older, it was clean and comfortable. Awesome large windows with a great view. Enjoyed hanging out in the Executive Lounge for coffee and a bit of peace and quiet!

Tardamos 45 minutos en hacer el Check in , por la cola que habia , estando la mitad de los mostradores vacíos . Te cobran nada mas llegar en c nuestro caso 211 € por el wifi , . Te dicen que parte de ese dinero lo puedes usar en los diferentes bares pero siempre hay unas colas enormes donde lo puedes utilizar, que te hacen desistir. El día de dejar el hotel en consigna 5€ por guardarte cada maleta , le explicamos que sería tres horas , pero nos dice que es una tarifa única. Un día no hicieron las habitaciones avisamos y nos dijeron que ya no había servicio de limpieza por la tarde. En definitiva un desastre . Es un hotel patera con airede cuatro estrellas, pero se queda en eso sólo en el aire

En general me decepcionó el hotel ya que siendo Hilton y 4 * y lo que habíamos pagado, sinceramente, esperaba más. Nada más llegar estuvimos esperando en recepción aproximadamente 1 hora para hacer la entrada... Había una cola a la izquierda que iba muy fluida y quedaba limitada a unos cuantos afortunados que pretenecian a algún club especial y eran atendidos de forma diligente por varias ventanillas. El resto (la plebe) teníamos que esperar pacientemente a que quedara libre la única ventanilla... bochornoso, la verdad cuando todos sabemos que en NYC "time is money". Por otro lado, viajábamos con mi hija de 16 años y éramos realmente tres adultos y nos encontramos con una habitación bastante limitada de espacio y con dos camas de 1,35...para mi hija no era problema pero mi marido y yo estamos acostumbrados a dormir en cama de 1,50 e íbamos a estar una semana completa. En el voucher de la agencia ponía que era una habitación para 4 personas de Luxe y con cama king-size. Lo comentamos en recepción y nos dicen que esa habitación que tenemos es para cuatro personas y que tienen otras similares con cama king-size y sofá cama pero no están disponibles. Nos ofrecen si queremos ir a otra tipo suite por 150$ mas la noche, con vistas y todo eso (no hemos ido a NY a quedarnos viendo las vistas desde la habitación del hotel...).A mi me parece abusivo el precio y creo que deberían replantearse si en esas habitaciones caben de forma cómoda 3 o 4 personas adultas (me pareció como una habitación doble en España, la verdad y cuando hemos pagado una triple, hemos tenido la doble más una cama extra o sofá cama..Incluso a veces he viajado sola y me han asignado una doble). Tengo que decir que tras insistir en recepción pudimos cambiarnos (¡¡¡¡¡a los 4 días!!!!!) a una con cama grande (king) y sofa cama y que estuvimos bastante mejor, desde luego. El hotel no nos resultó cómodo para pasar una semana... a lo mejor con 3 o 4 días se queda uno satisfecho pero una semana no es cómodo (dado que vas a dormir sobretodo). En la habitación no había ni siquiera una tetera de cortesía para poder hacerte un te o infusión (tanto en Boston como en Chicago la encontramos en los respectivos hoteles...tambien botella de agua de cortesía en minibar). Respecto a lo de retener los 35$ diarios para consumiciones lo que yo entendí es que era algo obligatorio pero que si no consumías pues te los devolvían al final de la estancia. Yo le insistí al recepcionista que no íbamos a consumir nada y el respondió que daba igual que era una norma para todos. Es más nos animo a que consumiéramos en otros sitios ya que el hotel es más caro-decía "entre nosotros, amigos".....Acabo de leer en los otros comentarios que parece ser no te devuelven ese dinero....Me parece indignante si es así. Eso lo tendrían que dejar más claro al cliente para plantarte consumir allí. Otro detalle es que todas las mañanas la señora de la limpieza llamaba varias veces bien tempranito y nos despertaba; le contestábamos desde dentro y seguía llamando e incluso llegó a abrir la puerta en un par de ocasiones...esto es un fastidio que no llegamos a comprender. Destacar que el personal de recepción fue bastante seco (en general) en casi todas las ocasiones...incluso nos increpó una que pasaba por no permanecer justo detrás de la linea pintada en el suelo; otra nos dijo que se terminaba su turno y que la buscaremos al día siguiente...en fin... En mi opinión, resumo todo lo anterior en poner un poco más de cariño en la atención al cliente y en que no se trata solo de hacer negocio sino de dar una respuesta a medida de lo que se paga. La ubicación es buena pero no lo es todo. Mi familia y yo no repetiremos en este hotel si volvemos a NY y tampoco en otro de la cadena Hilton, es más, tras esta experiencia lo desaconsejamos. Estuvimos dos familias en dos habitaciones. Las habitaciones están bien , buenas vistas tienen nevera,etc).El hotel está muy bien situado para moverse por los puntos de interés del centro. Pero desde el primer día apreciamos que el personal de recepción no fue capaz de explicarnos claramente un sistema que tienen de obsequiar cada habitación con un gasto de 35 dolares diarios para consumir en productos de su propio bar.Cada día en el bar del hotel nos decían una cosa diferente,dependiendo de quien estuviese ( que si no lo teníamos,que si lo teníamos, etc) y esto fue así hasta el último día. También nos crearon confusión con el tipo de desayuno de cada una de las habitaciones ( que si era distinto,en distinto lugar, etc). La verdad, todas estas confusiones por parte del personal de un hotel de cuatro estrellas nos sorprendieron mucho.

I had a fantastic experience here. Great room, such amazing comfortable bedding, wonderful staff, friendly, welcoming, clean. I had a beautiful breakfast that was included in my room pkg. Lovely toiletries. Great location.
I think if breakfast wasnt included it would have been insane to pay 45$ for it though. There is a place to buy small things to eat and a place beside the back of the hotel which has breakfast. All in all a great stay.

Hotel con una ubicación inmejorable, a 4 calles de Central Park y a pocos minutos de Times Square. Habitación limpia y amplia, cama King y sofá cama doble. Ojo pq al momento del check-in te cobran directamente una fianza y el resort fee que asciende a unos 35$ por Habitación y noche. No te explican bien que esos 35$ son de gasto obligatorio en el restaurante de comida rápida del hotel, por lo que te los van a cobrar consumas o no allí. Recomiendo gastarlo, aunque sea en bebidas, pq no te lo devuelven... la fianza si la han devuelto a los 10-12 días aproximadamente. Repetiría, no es mal hotel y ya conocemos su funcionamiento.

To start with we had to part with $500 dollars in security and urban tax to even get our room keys. The urban tax I was aware off,although this was also $5 per day higher than I was told by my travel company. The security deposit I was not even told about so I got quite annoyed at this. The staff did not exactly explain the whole urban tax thing very well either,from my understanding we would only be charged for what we used however this was not the case as I found out the day before i left. I was in New York with my family so was never really going to be using the restaurant. So in the end I used only around $47 of the Credit and received nothing else in return. Then with the room due to there being an office block across the street I had to switch on every light,even in the middle of the day to get any decent light. The lights themselves where poorly designed as I had to switch on what felt like twenty switch's to turn the lights on. The main restaurant in the hotel I couldn't go to in the evening due to having my 11 year old with us so no real point there. The bathroom would not have been able to suit 4 people as it was quite small. The TV was a great size but limited channels. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families and was generally disappointed as it put a damper on what overall was a great trip.
For a Hotel by Hilton I expected much much better.

We had a seamless outstanding 3 night stay here! We were absolutely amazed and impressed with all of the hospitality staff. Everyone from the front desk, bellman, and dining were polite while being highly efficient. We were especially impressed with the dining service staff. They provided a high level of service with the utmost courtesy while managing a large volume of customers with varied personalities and diverse background, languages, and needs. It was a pleasure to watch the host work and effortlessly handle a customer who was unhappy with waiting for a table with his family. The host's calm demeanor and professionalism helped to diffuse the emotions. The location was perfect! We were on the 43rd floor in an executive suite. The room was very roomy and comfortable and the view was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

My mother (who is disabled) is coming in for a reservation soon. I work for a hotel as a general manager. The customer service I received on the phone was absolutely outrageous and totally disrespectful. My mother‘s preference would be an ADA accessible room but understands those are far between. So some simple requests in order to make sure she is comfortable, was told that wouldn’t be able to be accommodated. When reservations come in at my hotel, which is a five-star hotel in a major city, we ensure we take care of the guest. The guest who pays our bills. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was not one available. I was not offered to be transferred to a voicemail or anything. As someone who is born and raised in New York I love my city. But the customer service that was experienced over the phone —- baffled and highly upset. Unfortunately my mother house to stay at this hotel but if management sees this please feel free to respond to it and give me a direct number to call you guys out please. Thank you.

Fuimos 8 personas de vacaciones, dos habitaciones de 4. Tuvimos problemas con las toallas, dos veces recordamos que éramos 4 para que repusieran.... Limpieza bien. Camas muy cómodas, o eso nos pareció tras estar todo el día de caminata. Nos alojamos en la planta 19 y desde allí no se escuchaba nada de ruido. Pedimos que nos pusieran en habitaciones contiguas y así fue. Si dejas las maletas en consigna son 5 dólares por maleta, para que lo tengáis en cuenta. En general bien.

Nice hotel with prime location but old. You can tell it's tired by cosmetic imperfections and interior having some visible wear and tear. It's still very comfortable and clean though. New York Hospitality is everywhere. From bellman to a room attendant. Everyone is super polite, attentive and swift to assist.

Não é um prédio novo mas ainda é um Hilton. O ótimo é sua localização. Os quartos são grandes, o banheiro legal mas a banheira pequena. Os amenities são bem legais. Eu queria conectar minha câmera na tv via USB ou HDMI, o que foi impossível, não sei porquê. As camas garantem um ótimo sono e a limpeza também é bem boa.

We booked for 2 nights in October and received confirmation emails as well. Kept calling reservation and received no response and show up to see that the hotel is closed. Why would you confirm a reservation when there is no darn hotel?
Also, I read the google reviews and they do not provide a concrete response to whether the hotel is open or not… certainly not what I expected from Hilton Hotels.

We stayed here for 5 nights on our trip to New York in 2018. We found it to be great in proximity to everywhere we needed to go. Really clean, and friendly staff. Room was alright. Not much of a view from where we were, but we only needed it to sleep anyways. Checked us in pretty early when our bus got there way before check in time. Continental breakfast had a decent selection, was good enough to start the day. Hot breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about, or spend the extra money on from what I can recall. We would stay again.

I booked a stay here two weeks ago. I got several confirmation emails. My stay was cancelled on me without notification, which I only discovered by luck when I checked the Hilton Honors app. The front desk didn't answer. The hotel now appears to be booked? The Hilton representatives found another room in another hotel, which we compromised on, but it's a roof over our head.

Um bom hotel, com quartos amplos, limpos e modernos. A localização também é um ponto super positivo, próximo a vários pontos turísticos e de estações de metrô. Duas únicas ressalvas: o hotel abriga muitos eventos, o que faz com que a entrada e o saguão fiquem bem cheios o que gera por vezes grandes filas nos elevadores. Uma outra observação diz respeito a falta de constância nas informações repassadas pelo staff do local.

Os quartos são ok para o padrão, já os banheiros são minúsculos, o café da manhã assim como o happy hour oferecidos gratuitamente aos clientes Honor Diamond são ruins, de qualidade ordinária... O próprio Executive Lounge é abaixo da crítica, muito ruim! Talvez o pior entre as dezenas de lounges Hilton que conheço.Espero que esse breve relato tenha contribuído para a escolha de seu próximo hotel! :)**Meus relatos são baseados em experiências reais como viajante a trabalho e lazer, em mais de 200 diferentes hotéis em 4 continentes, principalmente das redes Hilton e Accor. ;)

O hotel é muito chique. Os funcionários tem que ser educados. Veja bem eles tem que ser educados. O hotel é muito caro. Logo os funcionários tem que ser educados. Minha estadia foi sem problemas. Precisei de um late checkout o hotel reclamou de início mas depois concedeu sem custo adicional. Bem localizado.eu já tava em uma barraquinha de comida árabe que tinha na esquina. Se você estiver com grana como no hotel.

Quarto confortável, limpo, bela Vista da janela do quarto, Wi-Fi grátis, tem cafeteira no quarto, frigobar, mesa de escritório, poltrona e o banheiro é equipado com aquecimento, secador, toalhas, shampoo, condicionador, enxaguante bocal e touca para cabelo. Também tem ferro para passar roupa e tábua para passar roupa. Recomendo

Quarto muito bom (2 banheiros), funcionários educados, bem localizado, wi fi dentro do quarto. Não tem frigobar, mas com maquina de gelo no corredor e vending machine de refrigerante e água. Ficarei la na próxima vez

Is this Hotel open?It was temporarily closed during the pandemic and there is a review that someone went a week ago and it was closed.I call Hilton main reservation number they tried to contact the hotel and no one answered, I called myself and waited over an hour and no answer either .I have a up coming reservation and this worries me.Please give the status of the hotel.

I booked a stay in the executive suite for October 2021. Will your hotel be open by then? Will we get full access to an open executive lounge and breakfast that we paid for? The reservations could not answer these questions. If the lounge, fitness area, & breakfast is not open in October, will we be compensated. Also what is the $30 a day fee for ?

CLOSED!!! Booked in May, showed up to closed hotel tonight and spent hour trying to get someone on the phone with Hilton reservations. They never answered after 55 minutes. Disappointed to say the least. All the other hotels around Midtown acknowledge this one has been closed since pandemic - but no indication on website. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

This hotel and its employees was everything I wished for. All and everything is simply perfect and outstanding. I just liked the relaxed atmosphere in the pool. I had a wonderful time, and I never had a bad meal. It's highly recommended!

Muy buen hotel y muy buenas instalaciones. Hielo en el corredor es muy práctico. Las habitaciones están lindas aunque entra mucho ruido de noche. El personal de mostrador podría ser más amable. El desayuno estaba excrlente, muy variado, excelentemente surtido de cosas recién hechas.

Tiene bastantes años, se amolda a los tiempos, rápido ascensor. Las habitaciones son amplias y las camas muy cómodas. Los menús de comida algo caros. Buena atención en recepción y seguridad para entrar. Lo único que teníamos dos habitaciones y nos las dieron en la misma planta pero en extremos opuestos. Tienen máquina de hielo en el pasillo d las habitaciones.

Acabo de pasar una semana en este hotel y mi opinión es que deja mucho que desear. La relación calidad precio es desproporcionada, el estado de hotel muy mejorable con instalaciones obsoletas, día si y otro también dejaban de funcionar las tarjetas de acceso a la habitación con las consiguientes molestias que nos ha causado,la alarma de incendios de la habitaciónsalto a las cuatro de la mañana sin todavía saber el motivo, con el consiguiente susto y las nuevas molestias de tener que bajar a recepción para que la apagaran, la limpieza de la habitaciónbastante aceptable lo que se veía a primera vista el resto llevaría meses sin que nadie se molestase enpasar un plumero, en mi vida me han hecho un cargo en la tarjeta de crédito de 525$ en concepto de depósito por lo que pueda ocurriral parecer en este hotel es práctica habitual según nos exigieron y lo sorprenderte es que , para colmo te cobran 5$ por cada bolso, maleta o paquete que dejes en consigna si tienes que dejar la habitación antes de que salga tu vuelo.. vamos de nota

Não é um prédio novo mas ainda é um Hilton. O ótimo é sua localização. Os quartos são grandes, o banheiro legal mas a banheira pequena. Os amenities são bem legais. Eu queria conectar minha câmera na tv via USB ou HDMI, o que foi impossível, não sei porquê. As camas garantem um ótimo sono e a limpeza também é bem boa.

Good location in Midtown Manhattan. Within a couple blocks from Times Square and a lot of other local attractions. The hotel itself was very big and well kept. They have two big bars in the main area downstairs along with a small little place to buy food and also an Executive lounge. Rooms were small, but to be expected in NYC. They were clean which is the most important thing. Only thing that could use some work was the bathrooms, need a little TLC. I would stay here again if we were to stay in Midtown.

Room service was over an hour late, and arrived in bags like takeout food; reception was not in the least big apologetic. "Room service ended at 10:30," I was told dismissively. Yes ma'am - and I ordered at 10:10.
Our room's water glasses were stored ever-so-conveniently on top of the toilet's water reservoir.
They charged a fee to store luggage post-check-out, and went so far as to charge us for food and drink in the Executive Lounge.
Intra-hotel calls routinely dropped/failed to connect.
Good location, decent building, and a nice room, but if you are looking for service or a taste of luxury, you won't get it here (even if you paid for it).
As a Hilton Gold member, I expected better.

Typical Hilton. The decor is the usual for a Hilton, nothing special. The best thing about this Hilton is its location. It is in the heart of midtown. Fyi, there is no room service here, just a VERY over-priced coffee shop in the lobby (think $4 coffees). I will give them credit though for a very nice, clean and complete gym.

This hotel is located in probably one of the best places it can be if you’re staying in New York. The hotel is classy, modern and there is always someone available to help if required. The only thing I would say needs improving is that the hotel room needs tea/coffee facilities for its guests. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in where those facilities haven’t been available. Other than that, would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of the city.
