Clean, quiet, and overall really nice hotel. I stayed at this Courtyard because of its proximity to The airport and my work location when I am visiting the Herndon area. I did not have any interactions with the staff because I used mobile check in/out and a mobile key, but they appeared to be friendly in their interactions with other guests as I walked through the lobby. The only thing I was not crazy about with this hotel is that it did not seem to be within a 15 minute walk of any non-hotel restaurants, coffee shops, or stores for snacks. Not an issue if you have a car, as there are several options within 5 - 15 minutes driving time.

We stayed for one night before a flight and it was great. The gentleman at the desk when we arrived (I didn’t catch his name) was AMAZING. We arrived at 12:30am so I didn’t expect much (I wouldn’t be the most enjoyable person then) but he welcomed us, explained the long term parking, and was just an incredibly kind person the whole time. The room was clean, updated, and comfortable. Will definitely come back!

The stay was nice. The hotel is clean and we appreciated the ability to grab a coffee from the bar in the mornings. The pillows are terrible, mega soft with no medium firmness option like most hotels offer. The bathroom/shower situation is weird. Why is the light switch outside of the bathroom & not necessarily close to the strange french doors? Why is there no fan in the bathroom? Why is there no door/shower curtain to the stand-up shower? Water all over the floor & a soaked floor towel. The a/c worked great but seems there’s no insulation between rooms because the a/c kicks on and it’s instantly frigid but the second it kicks back off all cool air seems to dissipate. Our solution was to keep the temp lower so it would run more often just to combat the still warm air that would instantly envelop our room. Ultimately, there wasn’t anything wrong with our stay but next time we’re in town we will likely try a different hotel at the same price point to try our luck for better overall comfort.

Stayed only 1 night, flew out the next day but I have to say I was very impressed by this hotel…especially management. When there was an error on my bill, the General Manager M. Miller emailed me and took care of it immediately and was VERY helpful. The hotel itself is very nice, the room was clean and comfortable and the decor was classy. The staff were very pleasant and polite. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone needing a great hotel for their stay in the Dulles area!

Hotel and bar were great! However, once I turned the heat off in the room....I did smell a hint of mildew. I then noticed that there had been a leak according to the ceiling in the bathroom....my room was was located on the top floor (6, and thought I took a pic...bit didn't - sorry). There was also used tissues in the bedside drawer. On the good note....Daniel at the bar was absolutely FANTASTIC....great communicator as well as mixologist! All staffing was pretty good...no complaints there. Would I go back....Yes!
