Absolute waste of money. Dirty place. Room with partial ocean view.. do you know, why is it partial? Because window is so dirty, you can barely recognize the ocean! Dirty(did I already use this word?) bedding lie about on the floor in the corridor (no kidding, photo attached) during whole day. No room cleaning during stay (3 nights) PS: do not order cappuccino in the hotel restaurant. You would get something but cappuccino. PPS: spent another 2 nights in much much cheaper hotel in Holliwood, 10 miles away from Miami Beach I guess. It happened to be really cool place. Especially comparing to this one.

It’s a great place to stay, the views & the rooms are amazing! The restaurant downstairs has a good vibe too. However, one person at the Front Desk - Joseph - was very rude to me for no reason. Definitely a wrong hire considering he works in hospitality industry. Hope the management hires more polite people for the Front Desk 🙂

I love leaving good reviews. But this was Absolutely positively the worst hotel I have ever, ever stayed at. It was filthy and the site pics must have come from the original build or remodel. This place was filthy. My room Looked like someone had makeup all over their finger tips and rubbed everything white in there. Bathroom was nice. We checked in at 11, but we’re told we couldn’t go to our room for an hour or 2 because they weren’t ready. That’s fine. But at 4:15 we were still waiting for our access. We had 4 rooms reserved and had been lounging around for hours at this point. They promised us ocean view rooms, my view was a brick wall. That’s fine. But Whatever the website says they offer, they do not. Like the refrigerator and cotton robe…not there and nothing like it. We are Marriott titanium elite statusand with that we can request late checkout. The morning staff finished my sentence when I mentioned being titanium elite and she said “ok 4 o’clock, no problem”when my key was deactivated for not checking out by 11. But when my key was deactivated a second time before 3 pm I asked them to reactive so I could get my luggage after. I was told to leave, “get out” or we would be police escorted off the property…FOR ASKING NICELY TO REACTIVATE OUR KEY WELL BEFORE 4 PM. I told him gladly, but I need my things from my room. Strange, I would need my things to leave a hotel. Yes this was we’ll before 4!“ Joe” his supposed name who worked Tuesday November 16, at 3 pm threatened us several times and demanded we leave NOW or he’d call the police. This is not Marriott standards. This is disgusting, and matched the filth at this hotel. Do not book a room here!!! Run far from this place. There are many options.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! One of the worst experiences we have ever had in our lives. Main issue this place has is their house keeping and the lack of professionalism. We kept requesting for house keeping and when finally got the sheets and we had to put it on ourselves because it was after 5pm?! Who does that to their customers? Even though we asked for them to be changed earlier that morning, like twice. Two days go by we asked them to be changed three times since our toddler son had an accident and no one came for house keeping, AGAIN. We had to sleep on the dirty sheets since they had no house keeping. This hotel has nothing going for itself besides the fact it is water front, we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and neither would we come back. Spend a little more and go elsewhere. If you are management and reading this, you need to invest in more professional staff and enough house keeping, this is not acceptable. When I asked your staff for complementary water bottles, half of the time I got smart remarks about why am I asking for so many water bottles (part of the daily resort fee), it was four of us.. if I am asking for 5-6 mini bottles at a time because it doesn't contain enough water since they are mini bottles. Again, not professional to say such things. Also, when I kept calling for house keeping, I get told by the front desk staff that I need to call early in the morning for housekeeping without knowing that I had already called few times in the morning and no one showed up, hence why I was calling again in the afternoon. Very disappointing to be treated this way.

I stayed here years ago with a group of friends and family to celebrate my Dad and Uncle's birthday. The location is fantastic and it is just across the street from the beach. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return myself someday soon.

Victor and Joseph are absolutely amazing and they understand what it means to be in luxury hospitality! Extremely polite and always one step ahead in finding ways to accommodate your needs. The room has a beautiful view, comfortable bed and very spacious. Will definitely stay here again! If you ever find yourself in south Beach Miami. Look for Joseph and Victor at the Winter Haven

I got this place for $85 a night so my review will be a bit biased. We went for my 21st birthday and I loved it! Great location on South Beach and is near a couple nice clubs and restaurants, plus a 24/7 Walgreens is right across the street! The bar downstairs is okay and they discontinued free cocktails on check-in due to COVID. You can rent beach towels, chairs and bikes for free which is great, plus they also give out free water bottles at the front desk. Valet is expensive and takes forever so I recommend the parking garage one street south which costs only $20 a night. The rooftop wasn't crowed and the rooms were super clean!

Hotel people was very nice. All the valet parking men was very friendly and nice I wish I knew their names. The people at the desk was nice as well. The room was decent. It’s walking distance to the beach and restaurants. They gave me a 20% off discount at their restaurant. Plenty good food choices. I would definitely come back. I had the best service.

Pésimo, no vale para nada lo que cobran y parece un 2 estrellas. Es sucio, no te limpian la habitación a menos que avises con 24h de anticipación supuestamente (siempre avisamos y aún así no nos la limpiaron en varias ocasiones) las toallas siempre llegaban sucias, las habitaciones no se parecen a las fotos, están mucho más deterioradas. No se lo recomendaría a nadie porque ni siquiera el precio es cómodo.

Atendimento péssimo! Faltou tudo... Só a localização é favorável mas o atendimento e a atenção com hóspede nota ZERO. Quarto horrível, sujo... Não se hospedem nesse lixo.

O hotel é simples, mas muito bem localizado. O quarto é confortável, mas com um banheiro muito pequeno. O hotel disponibiliza bicicletas para o uso dos hóspedes, o que é bacana. Não gostei que o elevador ficou mais de dois dias fora de serviço..

Stayed two days and I was amazed at how friendly and attentive the staff were from checking, housekeeping, restaurant, all were great. Room was clean, across the street from beach. Food was delicious, they made some items for our kid that were not on the menu.

Bathrooms are a little small, rooms are a nice size. Clean well lit rooms. Good tv channels. Right on Ocean Drive. Close to the beach. Part of the Marriott group of hotels. Lots of vintage architectural elements. I will definitely stay again.

It's nice for an older hotel. The front desk is very nice and accommodating. The amenities are cute. We enjoyed the location because it is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, clubs, quick access to the beach, bike rentals, beach chairs, and water (which was all included in the fees. The staff was nice to me and my children. The only thing I'd change is the decor.

3 night stay. Very clean, quiet, and the beach is right across the street. I particularly loved the rooftop access! The staff was very friendly. I would've rated 5 stars but not all of the amenities were available. We'll be booking with this hotel again for sure

PROS: location. Rooms are renovated with walk-in showers, super friendly, nice and informative staff. CONS: super old building, renovated but small rooms with tiny bathrooms, Marriott never fails to over advertise and over promise while under delivering, shocking they rank this as category six out of eight. Shocking but not surprising knowing marriott.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are some of the friendliest and most accommodating I’ve ever experienced. The property is lovely art-deco from the lobby to the rooms. It has a great rooftop to mingle and an excellent restaurant on-site to dine inside or outside on the terrace. The beach is just across the street. I’ve reserved two more stays here before I left.
