It was a beautiful room, the breakfast was spectacular and the location is unbeatable. However, I wish that I had known upfront that even though the hotel is branded as pet friendly, the cost of having a pet in the room is 35EUR which compared to all the other places we stayed at during our trip is much more expensive (the average we had to pay was 12-15EUR). Additionally, the underground garage is a bit tight and might not be for everyone but we enjoyed having it right there so didn't mind paying (I think it was approximately 19.50EUR) for it.

Burgos is half way between Paris and the Costa del Sol, a great place to stop for the night on the road. This hotel was a fantastic oasis of luxury and they accept dogs which is why we chose them. The room was fully fitted with warm wood, cozy sofa, bathtub, and they gave us treats for the dog- a dog bed, biscuits and food and water bowls as well as a tag for the door so the cleaners don’t enter if the dog is alone. The location is good for walking to the beautiful historic center of Burgos where you will find huge pedestrian zone with literally hundreds or thousands of tapas bars each more typical than the next, outdoor living all year round. Very large and cozy beds and silent room. We took a standard room on the quiet back street, as the premium rooms with views are over the main boulevard. They looked sound proofed but we didn’t need the view. The hotel has a huge reception area in a historic courtyard and there was a very large reception this night but we didn’t hear any of it from our room 228. Would not have wanted to be closer to the party though so make sure you ask for a quiet room. Will definitely come back on our way back and forth with our dog!

The best hotel I have stayed in, in Spain! Hotel room is big and spacious, and has lovely views of the church. The room has a Nespresso machine, kettle, tea and coffee pods (all 100% compostable), I was very impressed with their commitment to sustainability. Even the plastic bin liner was compostable. Highly recommend!

Fairly standard rooms. Reception very helpful. Hotel is in a good central location for the city restaurants etc. Paper cups for coffee in rooms is weird when you get glasses for drinking water!

Passei uma noite no Palácio de Burgos e pretendo voltar porque: excelente localização do hotel, tem estacionamento apesar de ser cobrado, um quarto muito lindo e novo, um banheiro excelente com todas as comodidades necessárias, e um café da manhã maravilhoso. A arquitetura do hotel é linda e está preparado para receber quem não tem mobilidade física bem como é pet friendly. Vi vários pets chegando e saindo com seus guardiões.Não poderia deixar de mencionar o excelente almoço e jantar que tivemos no restaurante do hotel atendidos por um simpático funcionário. Vale ficar lá… recomendo!!!

Visitando a la ciudad de Burgos de Díez y mucho de ello gracias a este estupendo Hotel. Se puede decir que tiene una inmejorable ubicación en todo el Centro, amplias habitaciones, mucha limpieza, desayuno buffet estupendo y en general buena atención de su personal. El parking es un poco complicado si tienes un vehiculo grande , pero accesible. Por todo ello, la próxima vez, volveré a utilizarlo.

Nice hotel with own parking underground. Great location for getting about. One criticism they had takeaway cups to make drinks in. We would have liked proper potters cups and would expect it from a hotel of their rating.

Mi calificación es para la restauración. Estuve en una cena y el menú fué exquisito. Especialmenteel Corte cremoso de foie, manzana y sidra! muy refrescante, ligero y suave. El resto del menúdelicioso también. Sin embargo después bajamos a la discoteca y las copas dejaban mucho que desear, no está a la altura ni categoría ni del entorno, ni de la restauración, ni del servicio. Estoy convencida que lo solucionaran.

Bueno en esta reseña se va a hablar de la comida , no del hotel o del servicio de habitaciones. Bueno en primer lugar los precios no son para todos . 50 € por persona realmente es para la clase media - alta . Y luego la comida no vale el precio realmente es de estos típicos restaurantes "modernos" y pijos . En los q se preoriza una excéntrica y exótica presentación . Antes q la calidad de la comida . Sinceramente no lo recomiendo para el consumidor medio . Y hay mejores restaurantes en Burgos sobretodo en el centro q es donde se encuentran bares con las mejores tapas y el corazón de la gastronomía Burgalesa. Lo mejor el arroz, la comida japonesa y los fingers pero muy pequeños como ya he mencionado. Los camareros muy serviciales . Un 5/10

Hotel de 4 estrellas obsoleto, viejo. Con pisos rotos en los baños, muebles desgastados, camas ruidosas. El mismo mostrador de recepción, que es su primera cara, viejo, desgastado y roto. Sin duda al nivel de un hostal. Un 4 estrellas engañoso, deberían de revisar esa categoría. Me atrevería a decir que lleva décadas sin reformar.El personal muy correcto y profesional.

Hotel muy bonito y muy céntrico. Las habitaciones la verdad que no me han parecido muy grandes, también tengo que decir que me confundí y cogí dos habitaciones para dos personas y al final era dos habitaciones para una persona pero bueno me lo solucionaron metiendo la misma persona a la habitación individual coloco el se quedaba un poquito pequeña pero por lo demás la habitación es bastante limpia y lo único que están un poquito anticuados son los cuartos de baño ya que las bañeras están muy altas y te resbalas y te puedes hacer mucho daño al salir ya podían arreglarlo y poner unos buenos platos de ducha. Hotel bastante limpio y la verdad que pasillos y espacios bastante amplios. El buffet solo utilicé para desayunar y la verdad que bastante bien muy buen café muy buenos bollos y muy buena variedad de tostadas, fiambres etc.. el no darle las cinco estrellas es por los baños por lo demás perfecto.

Loved this hotel situated in the old Palace. Sympathetically renovated to incorporate the original features. Even got the original bell that has a dull ring. Short walk to the town centre and cathedral Food was good. Staff were brilliant. Definitely recommend.

El claustro delque fuera el convento de la Merced está incorporado al hotel. Sirve de salón de actos, pero conserva su belleza.Estuvimos solo un finde pero muy gratificante.El personal muy atento. En las habitaciones no faltaba detalle, limpieza y comodidad. Cuando vaya a Burgos repetiré la experiencia.

En General todo bien, el cuarto era agradable, buen tamaño y tenía todo lo necesario, cuarto de baño quizás algo pequeño pero suficiente. Quizás lo que menos me gustó fue las almohadas, para mi gusto algo incomodas, tengo problemas cervicales, y también deberían tener más cuidado con la temperatura del cuarto, hacia muchísimo calor, aunque quitáramos la calefacción individual. Hemos estado este fin de semana que hacía una media de 4 grados y tuvimos que abrir las ventanas del cuarto por el calor tan insoportable!! El desayuno muy bueno y una variedad de todo. El parking algo caro.

Nice hotel, well located and with a great breakfast buffet with several lactose-free options. No lactose free bolleria though. Rooms are confortable but could use some renewing, specially the wardrobe which smells a bit musty - not very inviting. Hotel restaurant is good but a bit pricey for what’s served - you can definitely eat much better elsewhere for the same price. Very few room for adapting the proposed meals to make it without lactose.

A beautiful foyer! Expensive parking and very odd rooms with velux style sloping roof windows depriving you of any view (and really silly curtain arrangements!). Our first room had extremely annoying, noisy AC and so they gave us another room (no help to move belongings) which was bigger, quieter but suffered from the same window issue. At €93 for room only, I suppose we shouldn't complain. Presumably rooms with windows that give a view are more expensive... We didn't eat at the hotel.

Wonderful building full of character inside. Lovely pieced of furniture dotted around vast areas. Great staff and excellent choice for breakfast. 3min walk to the Cathedral and numerous restaurants.

We are in Burgos quite frequently and stay either here or at the AC Hotel across the river. In the past we have had great stays at the NH Collection here however this time was not as nice. Rooms are really starting to show their wear and while the building is architecturally historic and very beautiful everything needs a good renovation. They also are continuing a policy of minimal amenities (no coffee maker, hot water boiler) in the rooms which we were grumpily told was due to COVID policy by the night manager but which is really just cost savings (we have recently been at NH Collections in Leon, Berlin and Madrid that have no such policy and have fully stocked rooms). Even the bar and coffee shop in the lobby is closed. In fact - when we raised these issues with the night manager and asked him to pass them along to the main manager he replied, “you tell him - I’ve already done it.” The website confirms these things are still included in the room when you book so there is a bit of false advertising going on here. I would have loved the chance to raise these issues directly with the hotel upon checkout but I was not asked how my stay was (nor thanked for staying for that matter). We have already changed our next reservation and will be back at the much more welcoming AC next trip during the Christmas period.

Óptima localização, muito perto da catedral. Quarto muito espaçoso, uma autêntica suite. Pequeno almoço excelente, servido em tabuleiro atendendo à preocupação do momento (Covid) eram os funcionáriosque serviam o que pretendiamos. Chekin/Chekout muito simpáticas e colaboradoras.
